Eligibility

Who can apply?

Any EU city who is interested in addressing urban mobility challenges for their citizens, will find this interesting. Specifically match with following criteria:

Active climate city contracts / missions.
Tackling mobility challenges connected with climate, safety, environment, mobility planning, connected and smart mobility, social.
Guided by city SUMPs.
Existing or planned Community of Practice.
Co-creative and inclusive mindset / management culture.

HOW IT WORKS

Application & Selection Process at a glance

1. Application Submission till 14 March 2025

Fill out the online form with basic city info and motivation.

2. Review & Selection till 21 March 2025

A panel of experts/project partners scores applications based on criteria like diversity, readiness, or thematic fit.

3. Interviews with a short list of cities

A panel of project co-ordinators and techinical advisors conducts open discussion with the city representatives to better comprehend their needs and expectations.

4. Notification

Selected Observer Cities are contacted and sign a simple Letter of Intent.

5. Onboarding

We provide orientation materials, schedule kickoff calls, and invite you to upcoming project activities.
